Course description

This course explores the social dimensions of sustainable energy systems. Students will learn about the ways in which energy systems shape social structures and relations, and how social factors shape energy systems. The course will cover topics such as energy justice, energy poverty, and the social impacts of different energy technologies. Students will also learn about the role of social movements and community-based initiatives in shaping sustainable energy systems, and the importance of stakeholder engagement and participation in energy decision-making processes.
