Course description

This course covers the different policies and regulations that govern biomass energy. Students will learn about the different national and international policies that promote biomass energy, such as feed-in tariffs and renewable energy targets, and the regulatory frameworks that govern its use. The course will also explore the social, economic, and environmental impacts of biomass energy, and the different stakeholders involved in its development and implementation. Students will learn about the different tools and strategies used to evaluate the sustainability of biomass energy, such as life cycle assessment and sustainability standards.
