This course focuses on the design and optimization of biomass energy systems. Students will learn about the different components of biomass energy systems, such as feedstock preparation, conversion technologies, and energy storage, and how to integrate them into a complete system. The course will cover the different factors that affect the performance of biomass energy systems, such as feedstock quality, system efficiency, and emissions, and the different tools and strategies used to optimize their performance. Students will also learn about the different types of biomass energy systems, such as small-scale and large-scale systems, and the different applications of biomass energy in different settings.
