Course description

This course focuses on water governance and policy in agricultural water management, covering topics such as water allocation, water pricing, and water rights. Students will learn about the legal and institutional frameworks for water management, as well as the different stakeholders and their roles in water governance. The course also covers the economic and social dimensions of water management, including water pricing, water markets, and water conflict resolution. Students will gain an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in agricultural water management policy and governance, both in Canada and internationally.
