Course description

This course will focus on the technical aspects of wind turbine design and engineering. Students would learn about the different components of a wind turbine, including the rotor, generator, control systems, and support structure. The course will cover the principles of aerodynamics and mechanics that underpin wind turbine design, as well as the different types of materials and manufacturing processes that are used to construct wind turbines. Students will also learn about the testing and certification of wind turbines, as well as the maintenance and operations of wind farms.
