This course focuses on the importance of crop nutrition and fertilizer management in crop production. Students will learn about the different nutrients required for crop growth, including macronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as micronutrients such as iron, zinc, and magnesium. The course will cover the different types of fertilizers and their applications, as well as the different methods for soil and plant analysis to optimize crop nutrition. Students will also learn about the environmental and health risks associated with fertilizer use, and the importance of sustainable fertilization practices.
