This course would provide an overview of agroforestry, a sustainable land use system that integrates trees, crops, and/or livestock on the same land. It would cover the history and evolution of agroforestry, the ecological and economic benefits of agroforestry, and the various agroforestry systems used around the world. The course would also explore the principles of agroforestry design and management, including tree-crop interactions, nutrient cycling, and biodiversity conservation.
