Course description

This course provides an introduction to livestock management practices and principles, with a focus on animal husbandry and welfare. Students will learn about the different types of livestock commonly raised for food production, such as cattle, pigs, chickens, and sheep, and the different systems of production. The course will also cover animal behavior and welfare, nutrition and feeding, and basic health and disease management practices.
