This course focuses on the management of pests and diseases in crop production. Students will learn about the different types of pests and diseases that affect crop growth and yield, and the different methods for pest and disease identification and management. The course will cover the different types of pesticides and their applications, as well as the potential environmental and health risks associated with pesticide use. Students will also learn about the importance of integrated pest management (IPM) in crop production, and the different strategies for preventing and managing pests and diseases using IPM.
